Nah, it was a phone from an ebay lot that had heavy water damage. The phone that used to be in that case was my iPhone SE 2016. The two 5S’s I had as daily drivers, one I broke years ago and one I sold on ebay last year.

If it helps, I shot this video completely on an iPhone 😭 i had an entire lot of these things, this one was water damaged, had a bad LCD and bad display. literally just built from bad parts. rest of the iPods I ended up moving on off camera other than one that had a board issue.

used to live with my younger brother that had a habit of leaving these things outside, in the rain, for literally years.

both were iPhone 4S’s, both iOS 9 and iCloud locked.

trying to get back to uploading as the channel is mostly inactive, even if that means all I do at the moment is finish some of the bigger projects from the channel & congrats

the channel isn’t really active anymore as it is. I’ve moved and I can’t even smash things up anymore. That being said I don’t believe this channel to be the worst offender of “copying” or “taking inspiration” from Plainrock124, however you want to spin it. while I took a lot of elements from Plainrock124 in the early days of the channel, I don’t believe now it’s *that* bad.

they’re great phones, I just didn’t need mine after I moved and apple dropped support. ruining both of the uses I used to use the phone for (iOS 16 beta testing & camera), since any of my other devices will play music fine.

I ended up selling the phone after, I kept it around for about a month before deciding I no longer needed it after apple announced it won’t be getting iOS 17. sold it as-is on Facebook marketplace lol

@@Plainapple287 can you please do a Nokia c100 android phone destruction video the phone is so fucking bad that you can't even make calls on it and the chip set it uses has a media tek hailo a22 chipset and it's compleat garbage I even tried playing subway surfers on it and it was unplayable and Nokia calls it high performance more like it belongs in the garbage dump performance.

nope! I disabled updates before I even had the phone as it was previously my uncles, it was jailbroken the first day I got it (during lockdown lol) and I used it to livestream that 5C destruction in 2020. it hasn’t been updated at all and still runs 13.3.1 to this day.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. I really don’t understand why plainrock’s fanbase gets so angry over someone making similar content, that being said, I don’t feel like this video is a rip off, I put my own time and effort into it (about a month on and off of filming and editing, you can tell between the phones date at the start and the upload date). Even if it is/isn’t a rip-off, I haven’t uploaded on this channel in several months, mostly because I’ve moved on from it and it’s a neat thing to say I’ve done, I was 11-17 when this channel was properly active, if that gives you any idea of the maturity level I had when I created this channel.
